This is perhaps something really personal. I booked a room for my mom when she visited UK for me in September 2023. It was a messy day because I just had a surgery removing a nodule in my neck in addenbrooke and I got a call back saying the nodule was malignant and I will need to go through another surgery. And the same date I had covid, so I had to book a hotel room for my mom to stay away. She just came all the way from China, got this news and was so worried and told me that she was crying in the lounge in Turing Locke. And someone from the reception came to her, hugged her and asked if she is okay. I was isolated and couldn’t do anything. So to that person, I don’t know the name, but thank you so much for asking my mom if she was okay that day. It was a really a kind move and saved her day. I really want to say thank you:)

Clean, well-equipped for longer stays with friendly helpful staff. Right next to the wonderfulAstronomer restaurant and attached to a Hyatt-Centric. Not fancy, but comfortable. Very convenient grocery stores super close as well as bus stops for the university and going into town.

Excellent apartment hotel. I've stayed at other Locke hotels before and they all share a similar design, merging elements of a smart apartment hotel, or a cool hostel, together with the sort of slightly pricey on-site bars/restaurants you might get in a 5-star hotel. Lobby area is a bit underwhelming here but good facilities overall. The immediate area is very clean and modern, not much going on though and a 10min ride to central Cambridge.

Our second stay here at Turing Locke. Rooms are spacious and modern. £10 Uber to central cambridge & free bus tickets available. £15 overnight secure parking, no issues at all there. My only slight complaint is that we paid for a late checkout, which wasn’t observed until we reminded the staff having knocked on our door at the usual checkout time 🫣 Overall it didn’t effect our experience too much :) Thank you

Stayed here 2 nights. Started off well at check-in. Kim was very friendly and welcoming. They provided passes for a bus which was valid for 24 hours and quite handy. Room was nice. TV was a bit fiddly, WiFi password on welcome screen was incorrect. Bed was really comfy, sofa not comfy at all. Bar downstairs charge extortionate prices. I paid £6.40 for a large glass of diet coke, when just an hour earlier I paid £3 and was told I was charged incorrectly. Save yourself money and go to Sainsbury's 2 minutes walk. Fridge in the room will keep the drinks nice and cool

الغرف مريحه الخدمه رائعه التنظيف بمواعيد اسبوعيه ليست يوميه لاكن بشكل عام المكان مناسب وجميل وهادي جدا يوجد به مطعم ونادي رياضي وانترنت مجاني كما ان الشقه تمتاز بتواجد جميع الاجهزه المنزليه من ثلاجه لغساله لفرن لمعدات الطبخ وغيره 👍..

Rooms are very nice and clean. You have also at kitchenette, which is really handy special if you are staying for longer. I have colleagues which are staying there for the last few months, and they are really happy with the confort and the help from the hotel staff. Good customer service at reception and also I loved the atmosphere and the staff from the bar. Defo I will be back each time I will stay in Cambridge.

I've stayed a few times at Turing Locke which must be a good indicator. It's certainly a convenient location for me and the rooms have everything I need for a week long stay.

What a great home away from home. They have great staff and the facilities are nice. The 2 restaurants are very good and the coffee shop down stairs is a daily visit. Definitely recommend.

The rooms at Turing Locke are wonderful and affordable, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The staff is a mixed bag—half helpful, half truly awful. The General Manager and Assistant General Manager (whose names I’ll withhold for privacy) were particularly unsettling, creating a toxic environment where house staff behave like unruly teenagers.
I was shocked when a female staff member berated me in the lobby, ranting about her personal political and gender grievances. No guest should be subjected to this kind of behavior. When I raised a complaint, instead of resolving the issue, I was asked to leave. While I thankfully got a refund, I was treated with the same vitriol you'd expect from high school bullies.
If you're considering a stay here, I would strongly recommend opting for a nice Airbnb instead. You'll get more for your money and avoid the risk of being harassed by staff members who seem more interested in pushing their agenda than providing professional service. This is not a place that values customer respect. Avoid at all costs.

For my first time visit to the UK, I'm grateful to have chosen Turing Locke as my first stay for almost two weeks. I had a wonderful stay and even book another room for my other family member. We all have a wonderful stay. It's 20 minutes by bus to central Cambridge (with near and accesible bus stop), you can find a few cafe and restaurant, there's one Sainsbury's nearby, and a communal park. The neighbourhood is quiet, cozy, and comfortable. There's also a communal work place in the lobby. The room was lovely, it had everything you need and more. I love the kithcen area and all the amenities provided. The room decor was lovely and very spacious for two. All the receptionist was friendly and helped us a lot. The only negative review I had was the bathroom on unit 2062 was a bit moldy on some corner. Like.. black mold. It was an eyesore, and there were some other dustry corner here and there. It could be cleaner, but other than that I still had a lovely stay.

What an amazing place to stay! Rooms are amazing, cosy and very stylish with a really comfy bed. Staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel can be easily access from the rail station by bus U1 and U2. If is a nice day you could walk to the city centre as it is a pleasant walk. The area where the hotel is located is quite new, with a supermarket nearby and also a great bakery. A bit further there is a park and ride, but less than 10 min away from the hotel where you can also get other buses to the city centre.

At this point, this place is like a home to us. Most welcoming reception you can ever wonder. Manchini been an absolute delete during our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much and we definitely will revisit (multiple times) in the future!

Loved our stay at Turing Locke! The apartment was so stylish, with everything you might need. The whole complex was really chic. We especially loved the free bikes and used these everyday to cycle into Cambridge. All members of staff were super friendly and helpful and we even had a free bottle of prosecco left in our room for my birthday! Definitely would stay again if visiting Cambridge. 10/10!

Excellent accommodation just on the outskirts of Cambridge but very accessible by bus. Lovely rooms that were comfy, clean and well equipped. Excellent service. We especially loved the delicious wood-fired pizzas on the rooftop bar!

Well appointed rooms. It’s an upcoming locale but with adequate public infra like restaurants and another hotel the Hyatt centric that it shares premises with. Reccomended esp if you are looking to stay away from the crowded center . Very uberable to the local sights
